WHAT YOU WILL DO:
• Perform structural analysis and design for a variety of projects, utilizing industry-standard software and adhering to applicable building codes and regulations.
• Collaborate and coordinate with team members and stakeholders — including architects, engineers, and contractors — to ensure project goals and design requirements are achieved.
• Prepare, review, and approve structural drawings, plans, and technical specifications.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to evaluate structural conditions, providing recommendations and implementing corrective measures as needed.
• Stay informed on emerging technologies and best practices in structural engineering and construction, seeking opportunities to enhance efficiency, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
• Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba.
• Class 5 Manitoba Drivers License
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in structural engineering.
• Experience with precast concrete design considered an asset.
• Strong understanding of Manitoba building codes, standards, and construction practices.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software.
• Experience with drafting software, such as AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit (Structural BIM).
• Excellent communication, customer service, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
