Supply Chain Internship:
As a Supply Chain Intern, you will be responsible for supporting the Logistics Coordinator for a defined geographical distribution area for both Cargill and the AgResource network in chemical and seed supply chain management
Your Work:
Principal Accountabilities:
• Co-ordinate the execution of seed and chemical orders from suppliers to retails and maintains company approved freight and inventory management levels within the Prairie Provinces and Southern Ontario.
• Handle the in-bound communication from retails and independent dealers as a support to the Distribution Services Lead.
• Maintain records of transactions and inventory reconciliation on a daily /weekly basis
• Assist with annual forecasts and product-positioning
• Working on projects as the need arises

Internship details:
• Internships are paid and are at least 16 weeks in duration.
• Interns are paid hourly for time worked.
• Interns are responsible for transportation to and from work.
• Interns who demonstrate outstanding performance and a curiosity to learn more may be offered an internship, co-op or full-time position to return the following year.

• Able to complete a 16-week internship May - August 2024
• Proven ability to work optimally with individuals from a diverse set of backgrounds and cultures
• Must possess a high degree of initiative and resourcefulness in completing work with limited guidance
• Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada
