Water Quality Monitoring Assistant

Overview

Manitoba Environment and Climate Change is looking for three water quality monitoring assistants to join a team in the delivery of programs to protect and manage surface water quality in Manitoba. Water quality is a focus area in the new provincial water management strategy and these positions will play an important role in delivering Manitoba's objectives under this focus area. Two, 18 week positions (running from May to September) will support the Clean Beaches Program with one position located in Winnipeg and the second in Brandon. The third position (40 week position running from April to January) will support the Lake Winnipeg Water Quality Monitoring Program, based out of Winnipeg, Manitoba, with fieldwork based out of Gimli, Manitoba.
