Youth Care Worker
Part-time .4 EFT - Permanent
Healing Homes
Knowles Centre is an accredited treatment facility serving children, adolescents, and families from Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario.
Duties:
• Supervise high needs/at-risk youth
• Provide feedback to treatment teams
• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary treatment team
• Deescalate clients as needed
• Documentation of clients progresses
Qualifications
Qualifications:
• Minimum Gr.12, RRC or University education (preferred)
• Education and experience with level four children an asset
• Strong interest in working with high needs, at-risk youth
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Successful applicant will be subject to Child Abuse Registry, Prior Contact and Criminal Reference checks
• Valid Manitoba Driver’s License
• First Aid/CPR/TCI
Knowles Centre is committed to providing a safe environment for children and youth. All applicants will be thoroughly screened using background checks and a review process.
Salary: Range from $37,194.10 - $47,348.18
Work hours: Saturday and Sunday, 7:30 am – 3:30 pm.
