Youth Care Worker - FT Term

We are hiring!
Youth Care Worker (full-time, open-term)
Healing Home (HH)
(Open term dependent on the return of the incumbent with a 2-week notice)

Knowles Centre is an accredited treatment facility serving children, adolescents, and families from Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario.

Duties:
• Supervise high needs/at-risk youth
• Provide feedback to treatment teams
• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary treatment team
• Emphasis will be place on recreation programs

Qualifications:
• Minimum Gr.12, RRC or University education (preferred)
• Education and experience with level four children an asset
• Strong interest in working with high needs, at-risk youth
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Successful applicants will be subject to Child Abuse Registry, Prior Contact and Criminal Reference checks
• Experience working with Level 4 clients with behavioral and emotional difficulties
• Experience working in an alternative setting (camp)
• Experience working in a secure setting
• Valid Manitoba Driver’s License
• First Aid/CPR/NVCI

Salary: $37,194.10 - $47,348.18
Schedule: Sunday, 8 am – 6 pm, Monday, 2 pm – 12 am, Wednesday, 1 pm – 11 pm, and Thursday, 2 pm – 12 am.
Tentative Start Date: February 27, 2023
