The MCAC met on Friday afternoon and made the decision that the full 2020-21 volleyball schedule can no longer be played. An alternate 12-game schedule starting in January has been created and a final decision on that schedule will be made on December 4.

“It is our hope that we give ourselves time before having to make this final decision where restrictions due to COVID-19 may be relaxed and season can be approved,” said Scott Masterson, MCAC’s president. “However, that hope is being balanced by the goal of making a decision that is early enough to allow student-athletes an opportunity to make decisions about their winter semesters.”

If restrictions are met and the season can start, the PUC Pilots will play the ACC Cougars, while the USB Rouges will play the CMU Blazers on opening day on Jan.15.

The new schedule has the women playing at 2 p.m. on Sundays and 6 p.m. on Fridays, with the men serving up at 4 p.m. on Sundays and 8 p.m. on Sundays.
