ACC inks transfer credit agreement with Royal Roads University

Hotel and Restaurant Management students at ACC have even more opportunities after graduation, thanks to a new agreement with Royal Roads University.

“We’re always looking for ways to expand options for our graduates, helping them to grow and further their education in fields they want to build careers in,” said Dave Perkins, Chair of Business and Hospitality at ACC.

“Just as many students coming to ACC are able to receive transfer credit for their previous college and university experience, we’re eager to partner with institutions like Royal Roads to help our graduates build on their time here with us.”

The two institutions have partnered to offer block transfer credit—often referred to as a ‘2+2’ agreement—that allows graduates from ACC’s two-year Hotel and Restaurant Management diploma program to further their education on campus at Royal Roads University in one of two programs.

Successful applicants would enter directly into the third year of either of the four-year programs, having their entire two years at ACC count towards their degree. Both programs allow for years three and four to be completed over two years or condensed into one year of study.

ACC graduates would apply directly to Royal Roads University and must meet their admissions criteria to be entered into a program.
