Josh Lintott becomes the most recent addition to the Cougar men’s volleyball team.

Lintott is a 6’2 outside hitter. Growing up in Brandon, Lintott attended Vincent Massey High School where he played for the Vikings. This past season he helped the team win a city title. Lintott continued to hone in on his skills through the Brandon Volleyball Club (BVC) system, starting on a U12 team. He recently competed at nationals with BVC and fellow Cougars recruits, Dante Wilson and Zane Dyck.

“I love the sport. Having to be quick thinking on the court is exciting – and I like being part of a team where we all need to work together seamlessly,” said Lintott. “I am looking forward to next season and am grateful for the opportunity to play for the Cougars.”

“Josh is a skilled left side with a well balanced skill set – strong in passing and a smart and efficient attacker,” said Cougars coach Joel Small. “He is coachable and shows high potential for our team.”

In his spare time, Lintott enjoys being active in the great outdoors, golfing, boating and skiing.

Lintott has always tried to maintain a good balance of academics and athletics. He is on pace to graduate with honour roll status. ACC appears to run in the family as his father graduated from the college’s Electrician program and his older brother is entering his final year in the Civil Technician program. Lintott will also be entering the Civil Technician program in the fall.
