Salary range: $16.89 to $19.56 hourly ($35,249 to $40,821 annually
Building Service Worker 1

Facilities is currently looking for two full-time Building Service Workers to join our team.

Take Initiative. You take initiative and are proud of the work you do, always making sure the job is done well. People make it happen at Assiniboine, and this is especially important in the work that our Building Service Workers do everyday.
Deliver Results. Your past custodial work experience and relevant on-the-job training has prepared you for this position. You will be a team player with excellent customer service and communication skills. You will be required to demonstrate that you are physically capable of performing the duties of this position.
*Shift premiums are available for shifts where half or more of the hours worked are between 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. The initial training period will occur during the day with our day staff. After the training period the role could move to the evening shift, 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm.
Through this competition, the college is also establishing an eligibility list of people available for casual work at our Brandon locations. If you are successful, you will be placed on the eligibility list and may be called to fill in for staff that are on leave, or for busy times through the year. You may be called on short notice.
