Assiniboine Community College strives to create Exceptional Learning Experiences for our students. We place a high priority on student success and are committed to building an environment that creates and supports a high level of student engagement.

The Centre of Continuing Studies is looking to establish an eligibility list of qualified instructors for our Applied Counselling Skills program being delivered in several Manitoba regions.

Be Passionate.

You are passionate about student success and engagement and have a direct understanding of what the education needs are for individuals going into the para-professional counselling field. You lead students to an understanding of their role in a social service setting, supporting them to integrate their theoretical knowledge with individual clients and community programs.

Take Initiative.

Your previous experience shows that you are independent and look for opportunities to expand education services within the community; self-motivation is critical for this role and your energetic attitude and collaborative spirit will build the groundwork for success.

Deliver Results.

As the instructor, you will have a related degree and several years of experience for a strong foundation of knowledge to support student success. You will be responsible for classroom management, ongoing curriculum development, and be comfortable teaching in multiple settings (potentially blended- video and in-person delivery). Experience teaching in an adult setting is considered an asset.

**An eligibility list is a pool of qualified candidates that can be called upon to fill current and future positions within the program.

This competition will remain open until filled.
