BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT LEAD

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Work with upper-level management/ownership to develop strategic business plans and support their implementation and ongoing success.
Lead a team of agriculture professionals on a day-to-day basis, including performance management, hiring, training, and developing employees, and other leadership and management related duties.
Support the generation and enhancement of business opportunities, client relationships, and the development of supportive networks in the industry.

Qualifications

THE QUALIFICATIONS YOU NEED:
4 - 7 years of related management experience in the agriculture industry and post-secondary education or a combination of related education and experience.
Must have strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively build and maintain a positive workplace culture.
Background and knowledge of agriculture and/or agronomy is required.
Must be committed and passionate about supporting the growth of a business that serves agricultural producers in the prairies.
