Are you looking to gain valuable work experience in your area of study? The Application Developer Summer Student offers exposure to various technologies and industry insights that few other summer jobs can.
Reporting to the Manager of Application Support & Project Management, the Application Developer Summer Student’s role is to assist in defining, analyzing, developing, testing, and maintaining software in support of the achievement of business requirements. This will be accomplished through building and sustaining the organization’s applications in an expert manner.
Qualifications
Qualifications for the Application Developer Student:
• Grade 12, G.E.D., or Mature High School Diploma
• Currently enrolled in a related post-secondary program with a recognized technical training institute
• Conceptualize and develop applications and workflows
• Ability to work independently, as part of a team
• Demonstrate excellent troubleshooting skills
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills
• Practical knowledge of SQL databases
