Inventory Supervisor
Overview
Oversees the day-to-day activities of the Stores area, coordinates cycle counting, batch and inventory variance approvals and manages City agreements related to stock items. Liaises closely with internal departments and external suppliers to ensure the right inventory is stocked to meet the needs of the City.
Qualifications
MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Grade 12, G.E.D. , or Mature High School Diploma;
- Possess a valid and subsisting Class 5 Manitoba’s Driver’s License;
- Proficient use of computer equipment, operating systems and Microsoft programs (outlook, word, excel).
-Experience working with spreadsheets and compiling of reports.
- Obtain a Fork Lift Operator’s ticket within 90 days of appointment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Experience working within an inventory setting;
- Knowledge related to accounting/financial principles;
- Experience working in the public sector and/or with collective agreements.
