NOC / Tower Support Technician

Overview

RFNOW Inc. is seeking applications from motivated individuals interested in joining our growing Technical Services Team. RFNow is growing its IT team and expanding the serviced areas and client base. To enable this growth, RFNow is looking for people with a desire to learn and work in our service area of Southwestern Manitoba and Southeastern Saskatchewan as a NOC/Tower Support Technician. Under the guidance of the Facilities Manager, Network Architects, and other teams, you will be responsible for all devices that support RFNow’s growing services: ISP, VOIP, and new services.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to establish themselves in the industry. You will be given the guidance and support to develop experience in a real-world environment and will have plenty of opportunities to continue to grow in this or other roles within the organization.

General Responsibilities:
• Building, configuring, and maintaining the IT infrastructure withing the NOC’s and towers.
• Working remote and on site in the NOC’s and Towers.
• Travel through Western Manitoba and Eastern Saskatchewan is required at times.
• Equipment includes Racks, UPS’s, networking devices, servers, and storage.
• Applications include VMware, Windows, backup services, and a variety of applications to support services to staff and customers.
• Level 2 On-call to support the NOC’s and Towers IT services.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience:
• Computer Science, Network Administration or Communications Engineering Technology, or other IT course/programs.
• Cisco networking training and certification is an asset.
• Windows Server experience and training is an asset.
• A desire to learn and part of a growing team.
