What you’ll do:
Manage the lifecycle (development, management, and sunsetting) of Westman products and services across all existing and potential portfolios, focusing on Client Premises Equipment (CPE) devices.
Collaborate with the marketing team on service and product requirements to ensure competitiveness.
Ensure service development alignment to customer needs, market trends, and life cycle management.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to perform CPE bench testing and determine network requirements for Westman services and products.
Conduct in-house training for technicians related to CPE installation & troubleshooting.
Work with vendors related to the availability of features, testing remote CPE management platforms, issues encountered during testing, and software updates.
Identify opportunities to influence the product roadmap and service development by listening to customers and market trends.
Qualifications
What you’ll bring to the team:
Minimum 2-year Diploma from an accredited college with a focus in marketing, computer science, information systems, or closely related field.
Minimum 1-year of experience in network services field including hands-on CPE configuration, testing, or troubleshooting experience.
Strong knowledge of the technical fundamentals of the internet and IP protocols including IP, TCP/UDP, DNS.
Understanding of IP multicast.
Basic knowledge of routing, switching, voice media gateways, SIP/TDM trunking, etc.
Knowledge of Linux and Windows Server, as well as general support issues.
Basic knowledge of scripting language and RF fundamentals as it applies to cable networks.
*A combination of information technology certificates, education, and experience may be considered.
