Overview
Our museum is a very unique opportunity to learn about our local history and culture in the Victorian Era and later to visitors and conduct interactive guided tours of Museum during June through to August 31, 2020. Assist our Coordinator with displays at Farmer's Market, at downtown evens and other venues. Help in promotion of Museum by creating posters, social media & other advertising forms. Catalogue & display artifacts, and care & maintenance of our collections. Be able to work as a team member or independently & be self motivated. Includes some general cleaning/housekeeping & lawn maintenance / flower bed & garden care.
Qualifications
Must be between 15 & 30 years of age as per funding requirements and have an interest in History, museum studies, Archaeology, Tourism and Business Administration. Previous experience in working with the public would be an asset. A good knowledge of all Social media, good computer skills and be fluent in in written & spoken English. Have excellent interpersonal, organizational, problem solving skills as well as strong written & verbal communication skills
