About Us:
ReNu Hygienics is a cosmetic recycling and manufacturing start-up company
proudly based in Brandon, Manitoba. We develop sustainable, plastic-free
cosmetics and for every product sold, we donate a bar of soap to someone in
need. Our desire to create an outstanding product is matched only by our desire
to deliver outstanding value to all of our stakeholders including the planet and our
community’s most vulnerable members. Everyone deserves clean.
Job Description:
We are looking for someone to help bring our company to light through
meaningful storytelling. This individual understands the power of a story and is
able to articulate and publish them through unique pieces of high-quality content
using tools such as graphic design, photography, videography, SEO, social media,
email marketing, and PR channels.
The individual will develop efficient and effective systems for content creation
and publishing while working directly with members of the team to gather
content information. The individual will draft weekly reports for the manager.
Pay is $16/hour, 20 hours/week and the specific hours worked is pre-determined
by the intern.
Qualifications
Candidate Must:
- Be a full-time or part-time Post-Secondary (college and university) student
- Be a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold Refugee status
The ideal candidate:
- Is proficient in graphic design using the Adobe Suite
- Has some storytelling experience (i.e., journaling, blogging, etc.)
- Is creative and can display such through a project or portfolio
- Understands the business and psychology of social media
- Is entrepreneurial spirited and business-savvy
- Has a strong buy-in for our company’s purpose
- Has a fantastic work ethic and a great attitude.
