Asset and Configuration Management Analyst

Reporting to the IT Service Lead, the Asset and Configuration Management Analyst is responsible for managing the ITSM Configuration Management Process based on ITIL best practices, focusing on core ITIL functions integration points with Release, Problem, Incident, Configuration and Service Level Management.

The Asset and Configuration Management Analyst ensures that standardized methods and procedures are used for efficient and prompt handling of all changes to minimize the impact of change upon service quality for all information technology initiatives that support the strategic direction of the Manitoba Agricultural Services Corporation, in accordance with the Digital Division Strategic Plan.

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:
• Degree or Diploma in a related discipline or an equivalent combination of related education and experience may be considered.  
• Experience with ITIL v3 or greater framework
• Experience with maintaining a configuration management database (CMDB)
• Experience providing Change Management following ITIL principles and guidelines
• Experience utilizing ITSM Software

Desired Qualifications
• Knowledge of application, network, data and infrastructure support and operations.
• Knowledge of Software Delivery Lifecycle (SDLC)
• ITIL training/current certifications:
Foundation 
Service Strategy 
Service Transition 
• Knowledge of the following:
Devops methodologies 

Conditions of Employment:
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license, access to a vehicle and the ability to travel within the Province of Manitoba.

SALARY: $60,824 – 78,716
