General Manager of Development Services
Overview
Under the direction of the City Manager, the General Manager of Development Services is
responsible for providing leadership and vision to the Development Services Division including
the Planning & Buildings, Engineering Services, and Utilities departments, the organization,
and our community.
Qualifications
EDUCATION
- Grade 12, G.E.D., or Mature High School Diploma
- Post-secondary degree or and demonstrated continuous learning in the area of civil
engineering, community planning or related field
EXPERIENCE
- Experience understanding and developing a vision and communicating the vision to an
organization or community
- Eight to ten (8-10) years’ progressively responsible experience in municipal government
preferred
- Minimum of ten (10) years in a progressive leadership position
