Mechanic
Overview
Mechanic position, full-time (8 hours/day), permanent, to begin March 14, 2022. The successful candidate will report directly to the Manager of Transportation.
This position will be responsible to inspect, diagnose, repair and service mechanical, electrical and electronic systems and components of school buses and fleet vehicles.
Qualifications
• Mechanic Red Seal Certificate and a current Manitoba Driver’s License Class 5 are required.
• Must have at least 2-3 years of experience in repair and school bus maintenance or a combination of truck and transport related repair and maintenance.
• Safety Inspection Certificate for Transport Truck is required.
• School Bus Safety Certification would be considered an asset.
• Experience using Computer Diagnostic Software for Motor Vehicles.
