Overview
Areas of Responsibility will include:
Staff management: Lead, coach, and develop the retail team to ensure high performance, including recruiting, training, and scheduling staff.
Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, assist customers with product
selection and resolve any customer issues or complaints.
Retail operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the retail to ensure positive
experiences for customers and staff.
Inventory management: Manage product inventory levels, ordering, to ensure availability of products while minimizing year to year carry over.
Product knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of products we have to offer, including seed, chemical, fertilizer, and custom application.
Regulation and safety compliance: With the help of other staff make sure the retail
continues to be compliant with regulation and safety obligations.
Maintain relationships with suppliers: Build and maintain good working relationships with all suppliers and representatives of chemical companies.
Qualifications
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Knowledge of agriculture products.
Customer focus mindset with a commitment to delivering excellent service.
Experience as an agronomist or retail manager is an asset.
