Anand Aneja, Agronomist in Residence
Anand joined the Applied research team in March 2025 as the Agronomist in Residence (joint initiative between Manitoba Pulse and Soybean Growers (MPSG) and Assiniboine College). Some of his past accomplishments include 12 years of Masters research on cotton entomology, developed and disseminated an integrated pest management model for cotton in Punjab, a development officer with Bayer Crop Science, and Assistant Professor at Punjab Agricultural University conducting short term trainings, vocational trainings, field days, on farm trials and adaptive research trials.
Prior to joining Assiniboine, Anand worked as a Research Agronomist with ICMS out of Portage la Prairie. He worked on many projects including efficacy of herbicide, fungicide, biologicals and insecticides on many grains, cereals, onions and sunflowers.
