Parking Information

Victoria Avenue East Campus

The Victoria Avenue East campus parking lot has paid staff, student and visitor parking, and is colour-coded accordingly. Staff parking stalls have red fences, student parking stalls have white fences (electrical) or blue fences (non-electrical), and visitor parking stalls have green fences. Any staff or students wishing to park in the lot must purchase and properly display a parking permit from the Registrar’s Office.

Paid Visitor Parking

All visitor Parking at the Victoria Avenue East campus is paid parking. Visitor stalls are available in two designated lots on campus.
Paid visitor parking is enforced Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Outside of these hours (evenings and weekends), visitors may park for free and do not need to display a valid pass.

Current rates for visitor parking are as follows:

• $1 for 30 minutes
• $1.50 an hour
• $6 a day

Any vehicle displaying a valid accessibility pass (disabled parking permit) does not need to pay for parking, so long as they are in a designated accessibility space. If you park in a stall reserved for expectant or new parents, you must pay and display a valid visitor parking pass.

Visitor parking passes may be purchased at the self-service kiosks at either of our two primary campus entrances. Passes may be purchased either by coin or by credit card. Your visitor pass/ticket must be displayed clearly on your vehicle’s windshield.

Evening & Weekend Classes and Visits to Campus

Scramble parking is available at no cost in campus parking lots after 5 p.m. on weekdays and all day on weekends.

Assiniboine College accepts no responsibility for any loss, theft, or damage to vehicles or their contents. We do not take custody of vehicles, rather we only rent space. If you park and do not display your valid ticket or have a parking permit, your vehicle may be ticketed and/or towed away.

Centre for Adult Learning - Brandon

The Centre for Adult Learning - Brandon is located at the Victoria Avenue East Campus. Refer to the above parking information.

North Hill Campus

Len Evans Centre for Trades & Technology

• Student & Visitor Parking - limited parking is available for free in the scramble parking lot east of the building.
• Staff Parking - available in the same scramble lot but the two rows at the south end are for staff only.

Manitoba Institute of Culinary Arts

• Student Parking - available for free in the scramble parking lot east of the building.
• Staff & Visitor Parking - available in the south lot. Staff must display valid parking permits.

Parkland Campus

The Parkland campus parking lot consists of staff, student and visitor parking. Any staff or students wishing to park in the lot must purchase and properly display a valid parking permit from the Administration Office..

• Student Parking - available for purchase at the campus from July to June, which coincides with the college's academic year.
• Parkland Staff - bi-weekly deductions for parking is available.

Winnipeg Campus

• There is limited free parking at the Winnipeg Campus.
• All parking spaces are numbered but are not assigned unless marked as reserved or with a business name.
• Both the east and west parking lots offer electrical and non-electrical stalls, as well as parking for disabled persons displaying a valid permit.
• Please do not park in front of neighbouring businesses or in spaces marked reserved, or your car will be towed. Assiniboine College is not responsible for towed vehicles.
• Student Parking - students who have an access card for the student entrance should park on the west side of the building facing Border Street or directly in front of the college.
• Visitor and Staff Parking - visitor and staff parking is available on the east side of the building.
