Foot Care - Small Business

This course will prepare the learner to develop an appreciation of entrepreneurship and learn what it takes to launch your own business.  Starting a business is an exciting and rewarding undertaking.  Gain an understanding of management and business topics ranging from computerized accounting to organizational skills.  The presence of nursing practice safeguards, such as policies and procedures for the specific nursing service being offered (ie: foot care services) must be in place. Nurses in independent practice are guided by nursing legislation; provincial standard of nursing practice and the professions code of ethics.
