Health Prevention & Promotion

This course focuses on assessment skills as they relate to promotion of health and illness prevention. The nursing theories, practical knowledge and skills previously acquired in this program along with past practice experience, are integrated throughout this course. It builds on the communication skills introduced in the Health Care System course to assist students when communicating with the interdisciplinary health care team.
