The Lieutenant Governor's Silver Medal is the highest award a student can receive in college. Its purpose is to honour students who are recognized by college staff and other students as having achieved outstanding academic performance and contributed in significant ways to the college and the community.
Nominations and testimonials for these awards can be made by any combination of three staff and students, of which at least one nominator must be a staff member, and at least one nominator must be a student. Students do not apply for this award.

The deadline to receive nominations for this award is Friday, April 24, 2020. Recipient(s) are honoured in conjunction with the major college graduation ceremony on June 11, 2020 in Brandon and/or at the Parkland Campus graduation in Dauphin on June 5, 2020.
