The Cougars futsal teams were back in action this weekend with the last of their regular season play in the Manitoba Colleges Athletic Conference. The women's hockey team played an exhibition game against Polar Ice in Oak Bluff, MB on Saturday, March 3 at 1:45 p.m. in their preparation for nationals.
The last round of ACHA Div II rankings are out, and the Cougars are ranked #3! This qualifies them to head to Nationals in Columbus, OH.
The Cougars volleyball, futsal, and hockey teams were all in action this weekend. The volleyball teams started the action off in Winnipeg taking on the Red River College Rebels Friday night and again Saturday afternoon, while the futsal teams hosted Red River College and the Université de Saint-Boniface. The women's hockey team was in Duluth, MN to take on the University of Minnesota Duluth
This past weekend both futsal teams and the women’s hockey team were in action. The men’s and women’s futsal teams hosted their cross-town rivals the Brandon University Bobcats Friday, February 9, while the women’s hockey team was down in Wisconsin for three league games Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
All of the Cougars teams were in action this past weekend. The women’s hockey team was on the road in Thunder Bay, ON to participate in the Lakehead University tournament, while the men’s and women’s volleyball teams were in Winnipeg to play Université de Saint-Boniface, and the men’s and women’s futsal team hosted Canadian Mennonite University as well as Providence University College.
The Cougars men’s and women’s volleyball and futsal teams both had Manitoba Colleges Athletic Conference league games here in Brandon this past weekend. The volleyball teams hosted the Canadian Mennonite University Blazers January 26 and 27 at Assiniboine Community College, while the futsal teams were across town in the Henry Champ Gym, playing the Brandon University Bobcats.
The City of Brandon, Brandon University, and Assiniboine Community College have formalized their existing spirit of collaboration and have charted a course for strong partnerships in research and innovation with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the three parties today at Brandon City Hall.
There’s a future in history, and a new Public History program will prepare students to take full advantage of that future by accessing the unique strengths of both Brandon University and Assiniboine Community College.
