Salary: $63,431 to $97,078 annually ($33.65 to $51.50 hourly)

(Educational Supplement: Masters $1.52/hour; PhD $3.03/hour)

Assiniboine College has been providing exceptional learning experiences that have been transforming lives and strengthening Manitoba through applied education and research for more than 60 years.

The School of Health & Human Services is currently seeking an Instructor for the Education Assistant Program. This course is scheduled for Tuesday evenings and Saturdays, with some additional days in line with the Nelson House school calendar. Delivery is in person, with classes taking place in Nelson House, Manitoba.

  • Be an engaging and forward-thinking Instructor, ready to share your passion and knowledge of the profession with our students in the Education Assistance Program.
  • Classroom management, student evaluation, academic advising and related administrative duties are essential.
  • Your comprehensive understanding of what it takes to be an effective instructor and member of the team will be inspirational to our students and will contribute to our goal of creating unparalleled student experiences.

Being able to deliver results by having:

  • Highly developed communication skills, strong organizational skills, and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Teaching experience in an adult environment is highly desirable, experience using Moodle an asset.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office.
  • A valid class 5 drivers license with the ability to travel when required in order to meet the needs of the program.
