Robertson College Partnership

Assiniboine Community College has a presence and delivers programs at the Main Street Campus that is shared with Robertson College in Winnipeg. Students are accepted to, and study at, Assiniboine Community College at Robertson College (DLI #O277650671352).

The following programs of study are or have previously been available at our Winnipeg Main Street campus. Please note that there are no new intakes of programs in partnership with Robertson College beyond March 2024.

Please note that we offer the above-listed diploma and many of the advanced diploma programs at our Victoria Avenue East campus in Brandon as well. PGWP Eligibility

Student beginning their studies in a program under this DLI prior to May 15, 2024 are eligible to apply for a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP).

Academic Pathway Agreement

Student who successfully complete Robertson College’s Intensive Academic English 4 with a minimum overall score of 70% have satisfied the English Language Proficiency requirements for entry to Assiniboine’s advanced diplomas programs in Accounting, Finance, Marketing and Human Resource Management as well as the E-Commerce Professional and Logistics & Supply Chain Management certificate programs that require an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of 6.0 or equivalent. With this acceptance, a graduate of Intensive Academic English 4 will not be required to produce any additional English language proficiency test scores.

Students also have access to regular information sessions with a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) who can answer immigration questions as needed.

Student Services

Practicum and Career Services

Where programs have a work integrated learning component, students are provided practicum services which arrange and secure industry specific practicum placements with employers for our students. New Student Orientation

Students have an on-campus orientation which provides general information about their program, explains the attendance and passing grades policies, health insurance information, practicum and employment, academic integrity, guidance and preparation for the first day of class, and a local a campus tour. Information is provided on resources that students have available for the duration of their program.
