Shaun Woodcock doesn’t like being in the spotlight. He likes to be behind a desk in an office with the door closed. And while he likes math and numbers, he also likes dealing with people one-one-one. So when he started doing some investigating, he found the Financial Services program at Assiniboine was tailor-made for him.

Restaurant marks 30 years alongside 10th anniversary of North Hill campus
This weekend saw the Cougars women’s hockey team, and men's and women’s volleyball teams playing at home. The hockey team hosted Minot State University Friday and Saturday at the Sportsplex, while the volleyball teams were hosting Université de Saint-Boniface at the Assiniboine Community College gymnasium.
The Cougars volleyball and futsal teams were in action this weekend. The men’s and women’s futsal teams travelled to Lethbridge, AB for preseason exhibition matches, while the men’s and women’s volleyball teams travelled to Otterburne, MB to take on the Providence University College Pilots.
This weekend saw the Cougars volleyball teams in action at home Friday and Saturday, while the women’s hockey team was away on the road to International Falls, MN where they played Rainy River Community College Saturday and Sunday.
The last day of Assiniboine Community College’s $30K in 30 Days alumni giving campaign came to a close November 15, National Philanthropy Day. The Alumni Association hosted a ‘thank you’ event on Wednesday where campaign Co-Chairs thanked donors for their contributions, which helped surpass the target with $31,082 raised for student scholarships, awards and bursaries.
It was a busy weekend for the Cougars, with the opening of regular season league for volleyball in the Manitoba Colleges Athletic Association. The men’s and women's volleyball teams travelled to Winnipeg Friday to take on the Canadian Mennonite University Blazers.
