After sweeping the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire last weekend 5-1 in both Saturday and Sundays’ games, the Assiniboine Cougars women’s hockey team is eager to again play on home ice this weekend.
The Cougars women's hockey team had their home opener this weekend against the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire, Saturday November 4, 8 p.m. at the Sportsplex. They followed this with a re-match Sunday morning at 10 a.m. Saturday evening's game saw the Cougars come out on top, winning 5-1.

It was a quiet weekend for Cougar action, with only the woman's hockey team playing on the road Saturday and Sunday. They travelled to Minot, ND to take on Minot State University Lady Beavers Saturday evening at 7:30 p.m. and again Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m.

The Cougars soccer teams played their last Manitoba Colleges Athletic Conference regular season games this weekend, while the women's volleyball team played in their last pre-season tournament.

The Cougars Soccer teams were at home this weekend, playing against Providence University College Pilots Saturday afternoon, followed up with games against Canadian Mennonite University Blazers Sunday afternoon.
The Cougar volleyball teams jump into action this Friday, October 6 and Saturday, October 7 with the women’s team hosting the Dakota College at Bottineau Ladyjacks, while the men’s team is off to Winnipeg to play in the Red River College Rebels tournament.
